Latin Lawyers highlights the legal advice of Bofill Escobar Abogados in LATAM's Chapter XI Reorganization, winner of "Deal of the Year- Restructuring" award

Bofill Escobar Silva Abogados was recognized in the 17th annual Latin Lawyer Awards for its involvement in the advice to the Ad Hoc Group of Claimants, together with CEPD Abogados and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in the LATAM Airlines Chapter XI reorganization.

Latin Lawyer highlighted the deal as the most relevant restructuring of the year. Numerous firms in several countries, including the United States, Chile and Brazil, participated in the USD 16 Billion reorganization.

A multidisciplinary team of lawyers led by Jorge Bofill and comprising partners Ricardo Escobar, Sebastian Yanine, Vanessa Facuse and César Ramos, and associates Cristóbal Cibie, Mirenchu Munoz, Stefan Goecke, Sebastián Contreras and Sebastián Bofill, came together to advice the Ad Hoc Group of Claimants in a myriad of Chilean law issues, including cross-border insolvency, anti-trust, tax law and civil procedure law.
