BES Abogados strengthens its criminal law team

The criminal lawyer César Ramos, with extensive experience in highly complex cases, recently joined the criminal law team at Bofill Escobar Silva Abogados, led by Jorge Bofill.

Mr. Ramos was director of the AZ Criminal Litigation Group for five years and his experience has been highlighted in various specialized international rankings. Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Ramos worked at the Studies Department of the Public Criminal Defense Service and the Justice Ministry's Legal Division.

He was also a member of the Criminal Procedures Code Reform commission convened by the Justice Ministry in 2018.

Mr. Ramos is an attorney graduated from Universidad de Chile, with maximum distinction (2011). He has a master's degree in corporate criminal law and a specialization in fundamental rights and criminal procedures, from Universidad de Chile. He is also a lecturer in criminal law at Universidad Diego Portales.
