Vanessa Facuse

Vanessa Facuse has concentrated her professional practice in antitrust law, regulated markets, construction, infrastructure concessions and public law. 

Professional experience

• Intervened in the most relevant antitrust cases before the Court of Defense of Competition, Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court.
• Chief of the Division of Litigation of the National Economic Prosecutor (2013-2017) and Sub-Chief of Litigation in the same institution (2010-2013). 
• Coordinator of Regulated Markets of the National Economic Prosecutor (2009-2013).

• Had an outstanding professional participation in the Regulatory Area of the Undersecretary of Telecommunications and in the Area of Authorizations as well as in charge of the Contracting Area of the same service (2004-2008).

• Visiting professor in the Rafael del Pino Foundation (Spain) to teach the module "Competition in Chile", on Competition in the Markets for all of Europe (2019).

• Professor of the Regulation and Antitrust Course, Universidad Diego Portales MBA (2014-2018), and the Regulation and Competition Diploma from Universidad de Chile (2020-2021).
• She has carried out numerous specializations in her field of interest, including Course on Tort Law in Competition at the U. de Chile (2016); Diploma in Sanctioning Administrative Law, Universidad de Los Andes (2015); Ibero-American Competition School, issued by the Spanish National Competition Commission (2009); and Diploma in Administrative Law: The Regulatory State: Law, Economy and Competition, Universidad de Chile (2005).
• Founder of Red ProCompetencia.
• Counselor for the Chilean Institute of Law and Technologies.
